Trolling // Online Behaviour

The internet used to be a place where people just did what they had to do, and nothing else. But as one normally thinks, it is time to honour ourselves online. It is absolutely normal to make fun  of or mess around a friend that is the pinnacle of your relationship, then it is not bothering us. Everyone is always looking to have a little bit of fun so we let our humour get the better of us. Sometimes we even push it way overboard that it could cause problems for others but not yourself, this is called Trolling.

Our daily lives of just plain messing around with each other has created an impact to the digital world as it has become a more comfortable topic considering that everyone is now doing it. Trolling is an online way to do practical jokes with other people, but this may not be seen this way from the other side of the computer screen, they may not know that you are only kidding and messing around, and are offended by what you had done or said. If we can see each other face-to-face, then we can see the real intentions just by looking into the other person's eyes, that is not possible online. Nowadays, people are more keen on trolling others because it is what brings them satisfaction, and joy in their eyes. Those type of people are the dangerous ones because they already don't have any regrets or hesitation to make you feel worse for their benefit.

It might be argues that they are free to do what they are doing because people do not know who they are, so in basic terms, they will continue until they are caught. Another excuse they may give is that they have the "freedom to speech" which to a certain extent, it is true but it does not mean it is not wrong. If anything that algo goes against the protection act that most websites and platforms have.
