Infographic // Design

Throughout this term, I have been experimenting with so many different and new software that I have been busy making some designs. What is great about doing these designs is that we can get a bunch of experience and build a portfolio The very image that is presented before you is something that is called an Infographic.

Now, infographics are a visual depiction of information and facts on a clear format. More importantly, it is static and very simplistic, not much information is needed because it explains itself. Pictures in itself are not used per se, it is more iconography or symbols to also give off the simple outlook and because in the general human mind, we generally look at images way more than text.

For the idea of this infographic, it was made as something to target those who spend the majority of time on social media; which is the main reason for the title added to it. But for some reason it took a random turn into how many people use the social media platforms that were included. At the time, these were the results I found, but I honestly believe that it has shot way up since then and the whole infographic is now outdated. Having colour is great, but the only problem is if you have too much colour in excess. Which is why the primordial colours are bland and the logos stand out more because the colours are bright and appealing.
