Podcast // Express Yourself
Podcasts are a series of audio-recorded episodes that are streamed online into various platforms. Some examples of places where you can hear podcasts are the following: Spotify, iTunes, TuneIn, Acast, and many more. In said platforms, you are given the opportunity to download them so you can hear them when you are out and about with no interruptions, of course I am talking about advertisements, duh. Podcasts usually consist of a person or multiple people conversing about specific topics which can include; debating, sharing common interests or reporting news.
What is an actual podcast, and what does it consist of? Well, podcasts do vary in length, as it can vary between 1 minute to even 3 hours. You might ask, how can a podcast be that long, the reason for this is because if people converse about something they are enthusiastic about, conversing is simple and time would fly while you are speaking. Depending on the length of the podcasts, this changes the amount of times an episode is posted throughout the week. The longer the podcast, fewer the episodes in the week. The shorter the podcast, the more episodes can be published and made. Podcasts are not only audio, but nowadays people are making visual podcasts where they all sit around a table or something and a camera records them while they are speaking; this has become more popular during these new years. People say that podcasts are 'basically' radio talks, but there is a reason to why they are classified differently. That reason is that there is no limit to what you can talk about in a podcast, because even what can not be said on the radio, can be said on a podcast.
You just need to make your podcast your own, be as creative as you desire. Because at the end of the day, you get to decide what you can talk about as there are no limitations. Some people might like it, others might not, but it is a matter of opinion. As long as you have goal and have a target market, you are succeeding because people listen to you.
