LOGOS // A Company's Identity

Logos are a wonderful thing because you can see the creativity and message that companies like to add. The best way for a company to be well known is through the uniqueness of their logos as it represents their image. Logos can be identify from their typography and/or graphics; even the biggest identifier is the colours that makes it stand out.

It is easily noticeable whether or not a logo is trustable; a well designed logo could mean that a company is experienced and more recognisable. A lazy made logo is seen as unprofessional and is least likely to be utilised because of this. A few benefits that a great logo can bring to the table are: it brings attention, makes a strong first impression, it represents your identity, it is memorable, makes you stand out from your competition, creates loyalty and clients know what they see. Sometimes the simple the better, so that when you are using it in multiple locations it could be used without any problem. An overcomplicated logo may show experience, but it will not be memorable or recognisable as its design could easily be forgotten.

This does not mean that a logo should stay the same and not be changed at all. Over time, logos should be updated and amended depending on the modernisation of the culture. It is better to advance with the logo than to stay behind with the old, it might be iconic, but sticking with the times, creates better opportunities.
